- When customers walk in greet them by saying, "Hello, welcome to the Cat Rack."
- Ask if they need assistance "May I help you with anything?"
- If yes, give them your full attention and assist them with questions and merchandise.
- If no, give the customer space but be available if they do need help.
- Also, bring their attention to special sales and merchandise. "All stadium blankets are 10% of today"
- After the transaction has been made, thank them for coming in. "Thank you for coming, have a nice day."
- Remember the 7 steps of the sales process:
- Approach the customer
- Determine needs and wants
- Present the product
- Handle questions and objections
- Closing
- Suggestion selling
- Departure/Follow-up
